Re: Jackson vs South Point
Jackson had 9 3’s I think….I think Jarvis had 6
Jackson played hard and actually won the 1st and 3rd quarters. South Point is very good. Great length, they are active as can be…shoot great and take care of the ball.
Should be a regional participant. Saw one bad attitude but when he was in he was solid and played his role. A lot of chirping by one assistant at refs. SP had a 28 point quarter and I can’t believe they weren’t t’d up.
I’ll be pretty surprised if they aren’t district champions

Re: Jackson vs South Point
SP players were impressively composed, and absolutely played defense to the full extent allowed by the officiating, which showed the maturity of a junior/senior starting lineup in my opinion. They would be a fun matchup to see against Minford.
Jackson couldn’t pass the ball as quick as SP reacted defensively.
And Lovely… wow.
All that said, Jackson never quit, they were just a little out matched from a speed and strength perspective. And SP wanted the ball bad, defensively and rebounding (extremely similar to Minford IMO).
Kudos to Jarvis from Jackson, his scoring kept the game within reach.
Not much better experience for a young Jackson squad than seeing teams like SP in the regular season. Sky’s the limit.

Re: Jackson vs South Point
Good showing by Jackson. South Point is a heck of a team and Lovely is a special talent no doubt.
