D2 Logan
#3 Fairfield Union 6-2
#10 Warren 5-3
#14 Vinton County 5-4
#18 Sheridan 6-2
#30 Logan Elm 4-5
#33 Marietta 4-6
#34 Athens 3-6
#45 Circleville 3-5
#46 New Lexington 3-4
#54 Westfall 3-7

* That head to head 2-point loss at Marietta stings for the 'Dogs!

* Got a date at Logan Elm on the 13th, however. Pretty big game for Athens if they don't want to see Warren again in Logan.

* Two dates with VC as well ... One next week on the 9th.

I think by voting time it’ll look like

1. FU
2. VC
3. Sheridan
4. Warren....if Warren is within a game of Sheridan they might flip flop with them
5. Marietta
6. New Lex
7. Athens
8. Logan Elm
9. Circleville
10. Westfall

FU the best

VC/Sheridan/Warren all close

Marietta seems like bridge between 2-4 and 6-10

2-4 aren’t so unbelievable good that an upset can’t happen but unlikely IMO

At this moment....weakest this sectional has ever been? I see a few of these teams rising and gaining steam for tourney.

That three seed is huge. 4/5 game winner is the sacrificial lamb to get killed by Fairland

... after losing 2 straight games Sheridan has rebounded with 3 "Ws" in a row ... word is that a couple JV players were moved up as they were lighting it up at the JV level ... the offense is now clicking for the Generals - Sheridan plays a good Maysville team Tuesday night, hosts Fairfield Union Saturday night as well ... Sheridan making a push for consideration again for the Elite 8 and more importantly wanting to making an impression on those deciding the Logan Sectional seeding in early February ...

I think an easier schedule the next 3 weeks is beneficial...I don’t see much in the way of coaches bounding together here. Sheridan’s tough games could cost them.

I know Sheridan has a couple of real good players in PG Ethan Heller and 6'7" Grant Hilerman, do they have 6'8" and 230 lb Amere Royster on the Roster and if so has anyone seen him play?

... Warren has a beast of schedule coming up as they will be playing Meadowbrook twice,@ Logan, have to travel to Alexander this week (I believe Alexander beat Warren at the Alley last time they played there as well) ... Parkersburg South & Parkersburg Catholic , Chillicothe ... Marietta as a rivalry game tomorrow night ( Warren should win BUT rivalries & the 2nd half of the season you never know) ... :

1/9 vs Marietta
1/12 @ Alexander
1/16 @ Meadowbrook
1/19 vs Parkersburg South
1/20 vs Meadowbrook
1/25 vs Parkersburg Catholic
...... Spring Valley WVa @ Rio Grande
...... vs Cambridge
vs Chillicothe
vs Waterford
@ Marietta
@ Logan to the end the season

Sheridan will be the #1 seed

Sheridan and Fairfield Union are battling for the 1 seed
Warren and VC will battle for the three seed.
The 5 seed is any of the next 6 teams

When it comes tournament time Warren will be #1 and should win it.

Warren might gather 2-3 more losses, coaches won’t benefit their schedule

Sectional Draw the 11th of Feb ... Sectional play Feb 19-March 3rd ... District play March 5-10 ... Regional play 12-17th ... seems compacted this year for some reason with District & Regional play all happening within 2 weeks ... I may be reading things wrong/backwards or upside down ...

I read it on seodab.org as:

Sectionals: Feb 20, 23, 24
Districts: March 1, 2, 9

On ohsaa.org:

Regionals; March 12 - 17 (I'm guessing 13, 16 or 14, 17 or 15, 17)

Westfall will be the 10th seed and 5-9 are a complete crap shoot. Top four should be FU, Sheridan, Warren and VC.
