otterslide...it wasn't your spelling I was commenting on, all you did was leave out an "e". That is close enough for a Belpre grad in my book. 8)

I would love to see this years Vinton County team play either the 1993 or 2001 Belpre teams.

I really feel that the 1993 Belpre team and this years Vinton County team maybe the 2 best teams ever to come out of the TVC.

I personally think last year's Vinton County team is better than this year's...but I agree the '93 Golden Eagles were somethin else...and this year's VC squad is a really good team...but one of the best ever in TVC?..that might be a stretch

I have not seen Guthrie play this year. I've heard that he has been a man amongst boys for the past 2 years. I'm not taking anything away from Guthrie, but Nick Morey probably is the most gifted basketball player that I've seen in the TVC. I've known Nick since he was in 4th grade, and could've never imagine him turning out as good as he was/is. Morey currently plays for D2, St. Mary's in San Antonio TX. Last year, he was a JUCO 2nd team All-American. In high school he played on very good teams all four years, therefore he didn't average the insane numbers like he could've. But, in big games, you wanted the ball in his hands, because he could more-than-enough deliver. For instance, Nick recorded two career quadruple-doubles, one against Ironton in the sectional finals, and another one to clinch the TVC title against Alex. Not many people know this, but one day I was over at Coach Garrett's house visiting and he was telling me that he got a call from Ohio State's athletic office wanting video of Nick and to see his transcripts. I forget the specifics of why that didn't work out, but it had something to do with grades/transcripts. So my point is, if you have seen Nick play and your wanting to pick an All-Time TVC team, it's almost impossible to not think of Morey as your first pick.
