I believe Piketon Redstreaks high school team is currently shutdown.
And, your point?
Just a statement, like yours with Adams county. No BB for Piketon High school. Look for more teams to add to this list

Just to clarify: Piketon is not "shutdown" like the Adams County Schools. Their HS program has several players that are quarantined due to contact tracing from a scrimmage. Similar to what Jackson is going through.

It looks like the high school basketball season will at least start and hopefully with no interruption.

I think it’s the right thing. I been hearing rumors about a league only schedule of 14 games starting in January. At that point Covid is still here and with cancellations a 14 game season would’ve been impossible. At least now with cancellations they may still be able to get in a decent portion of the season. Plus you can’t link a single Covid death to a student athlete from soccer football cross country or volleyball in Ohio during the fall season. There would be no scientific evidence or data to support a cancelled season.

Nothing should be cancelled. The spring sports cancellation was the biggest joke EVER. If a kid tests for the Covid Flu, quarantine him/her. Stop the contact tracing. I am tired of 25-50 kids getting tossed out of school when they are healthy.

I believe we will know a lot more about the upcoming season when the OHSAA releases the results of their survey. Sadly the fate of the season will depend on what the schools in Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Dayton think should happen and nothing will be decided until the state football finals are completed this weekend. Hoping the kids get an opportunity to play as many games as possible.

I would bet his odds of getting re-elected are already not good....... to put it kindly.

He probably isn’t seeking a second term to begin with. He would be 80 by the time he would leave office in 2027 if re-elected.

In a recent interview he said he plans to run a solid campaign. But as wishy washy as he is he may change his mind back and forth a dozen times before the next election cycle.

Kentucky just pushed The start of Basketball back to January 4th. It was the KHSAA choice.

Hmm, you’re correct. I am mistaken! Although, I’m dubious he’ll still be interested in it come spring 2022. If he indeed does run, it’ll be a pretty taxing effort for him personally as well as the Ohio GOP.
