ironton pulls off the upset over #2 wellston....my pick for upset special of the year

Wellston earned the #2 seed at Athens.......however they might've been the #5 or #6 at Waverly and maybe the #8 in the Jackson sectional.

Wellston will play very hard early......Ironton should pull away comfortably before it's over. It's not Wellston's fault they are the two seed.....it's the stubborn folks in charge of how the seedings are done in the SE district.

I personally don't think Ironton knocking off Wellston would be anywhere close to an upset.

Wellston may be upset when they leave Athens though.

Not sure if Coach Perdue will be covering the game or not. But for the game I'll say the Rockets win on a last second shot from PG Austin Craig.
