Washington CH has brought Shannon Bartruff back after a 2 year layoff. Coach Bartruff had an 80-79 record in his previous 7 years at the helm

I pretty much agree with what you say, of course I don't really know what really happened, but I think they still look kind of foolish in how they handled the whole situation.

Wellston chose not to hire Rob Ervin. Rob is a good guy but this was not the right opportunity for him or the school district. I am proud of the board members who did the right thing and puzzled why he was put up for a vote when there was not a majority. The majority of the board listened to the community. Not because Rob is not a good person but there is in house candidate that has paid his dues and deserves a chance.

So no Ervin at Wellston. Voted down 3-2 and one against said union contract says someone in house applies they should get it.

Not sure if committee will submit another name or not.

Wellston needs a coach.

From what I heard it was 2 assistants from last years staff, 2 past college coaches, Valleys coach, and a coach from Kentucky.

I heard there are three candidates for the West job .... an assistant from last year, a former head coach of West, and a former head coach of a neighboring school.

They had open interviews yesterday where more candidates came out.

It sounds like they have a good pool of candidates to choose from for this job.

The coach from Kentucky if we are talking about the same guy is originally a Minford native.
