The coaches can vote now through tomorrow (Friday) at 11:59:59 PM. I know some will vote early and possibly make adjustments based on tomorrow’s results.

The brackets will be out at 3:30 on Sunday afternoon.
Coaches can vote - but bios were written and submitted already. Nothing you did this week is even included.

Not a fan of the system. Get together in Jackson, armed with all the info, and vote in person face to face!
You could adjust your bio until midnight last night. They weren’t even available to view until midnight when the voting window opened. So, Tuesday’s games would matter if you included them in your bio.

I wouldn’t be opposed to the online voting as long as the coaches got to place themselves on the board. But, if we are going to be stuck in the game where your seed is, then I would much rather the coaches have to meet and discuss their resumes with each other.

I agree 93bulldog. If a coach is going to cut you up they should at least have to look at you while they do it. :)

Will be interesting to see how long Sheridan's 6'7 post is out for injury.

2 things that the East District does which I like.
  1. They post the full voting results. (East Girls D-III voting matrix)
  2. A School does not seed itself

Will the FU and Teays Valley game tonight have any bearing on the Seeding?

FU’s wins over Sheridan Logan Elm and Vinton County will get them a 2 or 3 seed

Yep, it is. Apparently, he tore a ligament in his foot and is in an aircast. Supposed to only be out a few weeks, so we will see. He did not play in their 8 point win over Philo on Tuesday.

He’s been out last 4 games, expected back sectional week. Team has played well despite only being a “2 man team” according to some.

What does the loss to Teays Valley drop FU to?

I think Pfloyd may have the winner ... I was hesitant, but that loss that dropped FU in the 7/8 loss column is just too much to earn a earn a top 3 seed.

5. Sheridan (15-2)
6. Eastern Pike (17-1)
7. Fairland (14-4)
8. Warren (11-5)/Jackson (13-5)

... TreeHugger Wannabees ...

Athens (13-4)
Western Pike (14-4)
Adena (14-4)
Coal Grove (13-5)
Ironton (12-5)
Oak Hill (12-4)/Eastern Brown (13-4)
15
Logan Elm (9-8)
Washington CH (11-6)
Fairfield Union (11-6)

Fairfield Union is (12-7)?

Tough schedule or not, that is a few losses away from being a .500 team. I'm sorry, I applaud the team for playing some tough opponents - but at what level is a team truly rewarded for that? A 22-10 Kentucky team never earns a higher seed than a 28-4 Gonzaga squad. LSU played a brutal schedule in football - did they get in the final 4? You lose games in the NFL, NBA, MLB you don't make the post season. Those are just a few examples.

The Falcons lost to UNIOTO, BLOOM-CARROLL, HAMILTON TOWNSHIP X2, ST. CHARLES, LOGAN ELM, TEAYS VALLEY

Bloom-Carroll (5-12)
Unioto (9-10)
Hamilton Township (10-8)
St. Charles (11-8)
Logan Elm (11-8)
Teays Valley (12-9)

So you're yelling about them losing to decent to good teams? Besides Bloom Carroll and Unioto, the rest of those teams are pretty good.

I love the logic of, "we play awful teams and lose to the good ones that we do play, but we are better because we have less losses with a bad schedule"
