A lot of good info on this thread. I'm starting to hear the sound of shoes squeaking on courts from off in the distance!*

Just did a 3rd run through of my working copy of the Preseason Elite 8 - I like it! it as usual simply tries to get teams in starting positions that are "in the ball park" as to where they are compared to the other teams Below the Lancaster-Dixon Line ... probably more importantly in my mind - it starts the debate/conversation as to ALL 72 teams in the SE District ... tomorrow evening at 8pm I'll release the Preseason Elite 8 rankings for the 2023-24 season ... the beatings will begin!!!

pfloyd Northwest will win a bunch of games this year. Returning all 5 starters from last season. Seniors Lintz, Jenkins and Bolin have started since they were freshman. Lewis started most of the games last season and some as a sophomore. Wolfenbarker had a great freshman year last season, has a chance to be a really good player.
Freshman Aiden Armbrister will see some varsity time. He is a big athletic kid goes 6'3 probably around 280 very athletic for his size. Have a couple sophomores that will also be in the mix. Very favorable schedule and a bunch of experience, should equal a bunch of wins.

Northwest should contend for a conference title this year

... the Mohawks ALSO were one of the most physical (in a good way) TEAMS in Southern Ohio last season as well ... hardnosed defensive group of players - what they did, how they played, who they have returning has not gone unnoticed by the committee when coming up with the Preseason Elite 8 rankings ...

… thanks for the info! I knew Childers transferred to Huntington Prep from a previous post saying “the 6-6 player” hadn’t heard about Haney … we all wish him a speedy recovery … South Point has a big weekend 2 matchup with Ashland at Shawnee State in the inaugural Battle in the 740 … I believe SP also plays in the ZT Tip-off Classic at Zane Trace on Dec 2nd …
