There were 24 Sectional Final games in the Southeast District through Divisions 2,3,4; the home team won 23/24 of those games. There were many close games that may have had a different outcome had they been played on a neutral court. The voting process is a joke, as it is, now you get home court advantage if you are one of the top manipulators. The SE District needs to find a way to go back to neutral sites for the Sectionals!!! Get it Right!!!

The home sectionals are likely here to stay. It's how the rest of the state does it. Neutral sites don't make sense with declining high school attendance. The SE District needs to go to an open draw where teams pick where they want to go on the bracket. That would fix some of the issues we have with the draw and also help get the best teams to district.

An open draw would definitely help with this issue. Tourney play is supposed to be about the best team winning on that given night without any distinct advantages given to either team. We all know how tough it is to win on the road; this distinct advantage should not be part of the tournament basketball experience because the State wants to save a dollar.
