... Warren will need to figure out how to keep the rebounding numbers close ... Warren for all the positives they have struggle on the boards ... struggling on the boards - makes it important to take high percentage shots and HIT shots ... Warren on the defensive end will need to do the little things to keep JHS from getting multiple shots on goal ... with that said - when I watched Jackson vs Washington CH at Jackson I jotted down on my napkin stat sheet "JHS crashes the boards !!! - the whole TEAM!!! ... as the guy in the stands keeping the napkin stats - I don't usually keep rbs BUT for THIS one I may have to - just so when I look at the game laying in front of me "after the game" I get a clear picture in my analysis of this one ... should be great game ! ...

I92 ! am I wrong in thinking that the Ironmen's last appearance at the Convo had one Max Morrow playing for IHS and Coach Dustin Ford courtside ???
Yep, that was the last time and Morrow was a sophomore

... I believe one of the few big men for Jackson Eric Evans was a senior on that team as well ... he went on to Coach at Circleville High School for awhile I believe prior to Coach Tyler Cassady taking over 4 years ago ...

Reds Fan wrote: Sun Feb 24, 2019 1:30 pm I think if Jackson can win the first quarter they give them self a great chance to win this game. I say this because the kids at Jackson have not played at the convo before so they don't know what to expect. the only one who has is Yates. everything about playing at the convo is different, the size of the floor, the background view when shooting, the atmosphere and most importantly the pressure. the kids from Warren are used to that and know what to expect. so if Jackson can handle the jitters I think they can win this game
Great point !

Evans graduated in 2001....his brother Jeff graduated in 2003 and I believe a guard on that team

Warren has one of the best and most highly respected coaches in the state of Ohio, and probably deservingly so is the favorite in this game. In a few years, I think a lot of people are going to be talking about coach Max Morrow of Jackson in the same tone. He has the program headed in the right direction, from the early grades right up through the varsity. He has the basketball program on the upswing ever since he took over. I really don't believe that the big stage will be to much for the kids, and I think you will see one heck of an effort from the Ironmen come Friday nite.

I’m looking forward to this one. Warren may be favored but Jackson is more than capable of winning this game. It’s a toss up for me.

I’ll take Warren, but if Davis gets back to 100% before then, I may change my pick, because he’s a game changer.

I really like both coaching staffs, so I’m excited to watch those guys do their things on Friday night.

Point guard from Warren is really good with a couple shooters around him. It’ll be close but Warren wins

Warren gets a slight edge but Jackson has plenty of athletes. I'll go with:

Warren 51
Jackson 44
