I agree if Chillicothe scores 58 this will be a 15-20 win.. Jackson needs this at a pace to be around 50 points.. not so much by stalling but running there offense as long as it takes to get a great shot.

If I remember right, not one team scored over 50 Pts in the tourney games played at southeastern. I think a lot had to do with the rims not being regulation height. Unioto beat Jackson by 24 and chillicothe beat unioto by 26. I say the Cavs win by 20+

VC over Jackson by 3
VC over Chilly by 4

Jackson wins by at least 1

Chillicothe' strength of schedule is by far the strongest in the area and Chilli has been playing great l excluding the upper Arlington. Maughmer and Barnes will be way to much to handle for Jackson and Chillicothe's press defense if the coach decides to run it will cause Jackson fits Chillicothe wins 65-52

Jackson has made huge strides this year, but this is a really tough matchup for them.
Hmmmm can't say that tonight Lol
Cavs big over Jackson
Hey, 2 of my 3 points were right on Tuesday! Lol we definitely ran into a buzzsaw.

Good luck to both squads next week.

*Note to people attending*

This is an 8:30 tip which follows the 6:00 Sectional Championship between Waverly and Gallipolis.

Southeastern HS will be splitting sessions for both this night and Saturday's games (which are better spaced at 3:00 and 7:00).

Sectional Championships do not have a trophy presentation afterwards but SEHS is allowing the winning team to cut down the nets if they choose to do so. Some teams do and some don't. (every team cuts down the nets at Districts and so on ---- but perennial champions sometimes don't at Sectionals). My bet is that the nets will be cut down after the 6:00 game. (No judgment-- just saying).

SEHS is not selling tickets to the 8:30 game until the gym is cleared from the 6:00 game. If you buy pre-sale from Jackson or Chillicothe HS then you will still be waiting in the same line to get in. This is probably for the best as people won't have to stand in line to buy tickets and then get in a different line to enter.

Let's hope the 6:00 game does not go into overtime and they can clear the gymnasium reasonably quick. My guess is 7:45--8:00.

Chillicothe came ready to play from the tip. If some of the posters from Jackson are seeing Chillicothe for the first time or for the first time since early in the season then they are seeing the Cavaliers at their best. They had a great deal of respect for Jackson and prepared well

That's a woopin...

Jackson basketball has a long way to go before it can compete in Division 2. Even with all the hype of the younger classes, they'll not compete well in the new Frontier league in basketball unless they can grow them bigger than 6' tall. Just the way it is.

This is why i love our regular season schedule. Westerville south, Upper Arlington, Pickerington Central. We didn't win one of those games, but it prepares you for D2 ball in the tourney.

Solid effort tonight! Jackson just really never had a shot. Young team though, they only started one senior.

I bet they compete well with everyone next year in the FAC except for Chillicothe. Greenfield, Hillsboro, Washington aren't top D2 SE district schools.

D2 may not have any Final 4 teams but the majority of the D2 teams were quite good this year. Jackson will be fine. Last 4 years = 8 wins, this year 9. Headed the right direction, height would be great but will have some real nice years coming with kids that aren't basketball tall.
