2 teams from each sectional advance to the Convo correct???
Then it will be the SE 1 vs Logan 2 and Logan 1 vs SE 2??? This format changes periodically so Im not sure.

Logan Elm will definitely have a hard time making it to Athens if they were the 5th seed and have to beat FU and then whoever the number 1 seed is!!!

I see the Logan going ...

Vinton County (13-1)
Meigs (12-2)
Warren (13-2)
Fairfield Union (11-2)
Logan Elm (10-4)
Sheridan (8-4)
Athens (7-6)
Marietta (5-10)
New Lexington (1-13)

I think Meigs and Fairfield Union will be flipped, possibly Warren moving into the 2 slot if they win out.

Meigs - Warren - same record - Meigs beat Warren straight up (at the Warrior Dome!) ... No way can you put Warren over Meigs ... It's the exact same scenario as Athens losing to Logan Elm a few years ago early in the season. Everyone said it counted then when the Braves got the higher seed, you have to abide by it now.

Logan Elm's best chance of making it to Athens is if they somehow played Sheridan and then Meigs

I see vinton county and warren coming out with unioto and washington in the other sectional.

vinton in a rematch with washington and unioto vs. warren in the other.

After last nights game in Meigs, Vinton County has a great chance at the number 1 seed. A lot of basketball still to play. We will see how things finish up!!

Lol, remember this, Logan Elm completely showed that the voting was correct that season. Maybe Meigs could do the same!

I stick by Fairfield Union jumping the second spot, although they will very likely pick up another loss (St. Charles). Warren plays at Logan and at Minford in the next week, while Meigs still plays at Athens and then Alexander again before the draw.

That vote was Vinton didn't want to play Athens or Warren. That's why Logan elm was the 1 seed

Possibly. But, Warren beat Athens by 20ish and then Logan Elm beat Warren by 16...without their second best scorer who broke his nose early in that game.

LE was the best team in D2 that year and proved it.

Logan elm was better than Warren, not Athens. I'm a fan of pick your own path. But that's my biased Athens opinion

Be interesting how Athens ends the season. Athens is a year away from being very good but the underclassmen on the varsity are starting to step up.

Size and rebounding are still an issue. It's not glaring when you play New Lex, but it is when you play a team like Warren. I still would not be opposed to letting #44 come up from the JV and play 2 quarters a night. He could be useful at tournament time, but needs some varsity experience first.

On the Southeastern side-
Don't sleep on Circleville, a lot of good shooters and dynamic scorer. Don't sleep on MT, loaded with athletes. Unioto is a shoe in...the bottom of the bracket will be a battle.
