How many starters did Western return this year? I know Western's record is much better this year but I don't recognize some of the new names from last year.
Three..Brewster, Miller and Whitt. They have Carter a junior and Haggy a freshman as the other starters. Off the bench they have a freshman Janes and seniors Myers’s and Kerns along with several others.

It shows that we can have a terrible game and still beat the brakes off of any team we play. Also, when has being undefeated not trump having 3 losses? Maybe in your world it doesn't, but in the real world it does.

list looks good, Eastern pike at 15 is playing better lately, or atleast shooting the ball better. Might catch someone by surprise. Also, i think ND, Peebles, and White Oak will have a good showing in the tournament.

It was a joke. No crap it trumps it. You have 20 turnovers against anyone good you probably aren’t winning the game. 20 turnovers against one of the worst records in southern Ohio means you have some flaws you need to work out

It was a joke. But don't be sore just because we continue to beat the brakes off of every team we play, even when we have a bad game. If what you say is right I bet you wish that game would have been against your team, huh? But it wasn't and now we have that one behind us and still beat them like we were taking them to the woodshed.

I could see Webster sliding down a few spots because some coaches only vote on record. Webster's losses are to Waverly twice (best team in SEO), Minford and Valley once (both top 5-6 teams in SEO), and one loss apiece to West and Wheelersburg who are both solid D3 opponents. But it all comes down to what matchups coaches want so who knows how voting will go.

Just dont see valley and Webster signing up to play each other anyway. Webster having 6 loses and other teams only with 2 or 3 loses in front of them is hard to make an argument. I get they have played a tough schedule and all and if it was a difference of like 3 losses vs 4 with those teams maybe. I think they could fall as far as 7 with fed hock only having 3 loses, fairfield only having 4 and both western and symmes only having 2. I am not saying thats where I think they deserve to be but could see it happening. Waterford and Fed hock are wild cards as where they will be seeded but I think that the top 4 seeds will be trimble valley symmes and western with symmes and western being a toss up.

shew that 2016 western regional team was tough. Seeding will be interesting for sure. Both Western and Symmes will win out after their matchup this Friday. I think you could very easily see a 2 loss Western team in the 4 spot and a 3 loss Symmes Valley team in the 5 spot.
2016 Western won 9 games in the regular season. This years team so much better on defense and have 5 scoring options instead of 2-3.

All they needed was Perdue. He’s drop 30+ on this years team.
Who else was in the league that year though? Clay was still good, east was still good? Eastern pike was good and still in soc1 right? New Boston was good? Notre dame? Maybe only won 9 games. But league was a lot better back then. Just my opinion.

The SOC 1 was very good that season, and really for about a 4 year stretch during that time. That season Clay, Notre Dame, East and Eastern all won 17 or more games. Western was the 5th best team in the league and made it to the regionals, crazy. They were the epitome of getting hot and playing well at the right time. Kyle Miller did an excellent job getting that team to gel at the right time. Essentially the same Clay team returned the following season and made it to the regionals.

Oh yeah forgot Miller was the coach add that to advantage 2016 team. Best coaching staff in pike county that year. Better than 85 coaches at piketon…
