I'm assuming your talking about Ironton..........

They are a very good team with some really good players that know how to play as a team, they are very quick up and down the court and pass the ball well.

Wayne Evans is very impressive to me, he's one heck of a ball handler and shooter and knocks down alot of 3's, he got some JV time against the Burg last night scoring 9 points.

The games I've seen them play so far:

Those are some very impressive scores. I hope some of these jv, frosh and 8th grade scores carry over to varsity ball in the coming years. It would appear by these scores I'town should have some good teams in the coming years.

My notes [based on comments made during the WIRO broadcast of the Varsity game] say the Freshman Game score was Ironton 82 - Gallia Acad 42.
Why such a discrepancy between our reported scores? I'm not arguing - just curious as to how we heard such different numbers.

I heard 82-42 on the radio also.


Jottings had it 75-31 on his report of the game

In the freshman game, Ironton rolled over the GAHS frosh, 75-31.
The Tiger yearlings led 17-6, 32-15 and 59-23 at the quarter marks.
