Size of school does not always matter. I got to take this one in live, and the Cats just flat out beat Athens. The zone caused Athens lots of trouble. Congrats Cats. Athens is still going to win their share of games for sure. Good Luck.

Big crowd and nice atmosphere.

The problem is the size of the school will hurt come tournament draw. Being a DII school losing to a DIV school and at home even. Good game by Trimble and you're right Trimble just out played us.

Losing to a d 4 does not hurt the Bulldogs as much as it helps Trimble who also beat d 2 Morgan.

Athens beat d 2 Sheridan, d 2 Jackson, d 2 Meigs, d 2 Gallia on the road, and lost to a very good d 2 West M on the road and a very good d 2 VC on the road.

The difference is that D2 should beat D2. It will help Trimble for sure and trust me it will hurt Athens.

I would like to apologize to the good people of Athens. Last night our team laid an absolute egg. Our coaches and players will not let it happen again. We are embarrassed and we plan to take it out on our next opponent. WE ARE SORRY!!!!!

Athens, if you can't even beat Trimble, how do you expect to be able to play with the Spartans?
