Ironton Travels to Waverly 12/13 to take on the Jake Kretzer led Tigers of Waverly.

Thoughts?

Ironton 53 vs Lucasville 50
Ironton 66 vs Portsmouth 52

Waverly 57 vs Washington CH 44
Waverly 35 vs Wheelersburg 33 OT

because , they can't stop Carter , Fletcher from scoring!

I haven't followed Waverly basketball since the late 70's. They used to dominate the I Tigers when they had a fellow by the name of Holsinger. Heck of a player.

Now this year's game. Waverly isn't an easy place to come and leave with a win. Ironton will be ready, but I say Waverly, at home, takes this one in an all out great basketball battle.

I think that Fletcher and the Big Boy from Waverly will play about even but will they have an answer for Zac Carter? Most teams don't. I think the only one that can stop him is just an extremely cold shooting night.
The one thing Ironton is lacking is someone to step in and play the point when he is not in the game. This could prove costly down the road.

I like Ironton by 7 ... Turnovers need to be limited for Waverly to have a chance.. .. Two of the better teams in southern ohio doing battle.. Should be a dandy !

You are Welcome Sprinter. Should be a dandy. 71-70 last year in OT at Ironton. I know Ironton returns most everyone and Waverly returns 4 starters as well.
