Not sure about open gyms and the players, but I believe Coach E's assistant is Amos Cottrill and the JV coach will be Jonathon Thompson. Word is there is a lot of help from former coaches and players going into this season. Should be a good one for the Lancers. Looking forward to it.

The players mentioned are freshmen and sophomores so I doubt they'll see any varsity time. Unfortunately I don't think the new coach has any 6'10, D1 quality transfers living with him. Maybe next year :( :( :( :(

I look for the JV team to be strong this year. I think the kids will see a different game with coach Thompson.
Good Luck Coach Thompson & the JV Boys.

Yep, good luck with that Ethan. Enjoy sitting out your Junior year. Hope to see you suiting up next year and enjoying your senior year as a Spartan.

SD,
I don't think Ethan has to sit for a year. It is my understanding that he has moved into the Alexander district.

Why would ETHAN leave a program that he would play and start, with the lack of size besides STANLEY???

I've heard thru the grapevine that the Williams family is planning to move, but his Dad was sent to the gulf coast? Don't know if that will delay them or not? So I don't think this is about basketball. I wish Ethan Williams (and his family) the best. He's such a great young man. It's a disappointment for the FH program. But our loss is Alex's gain. Good luck Ethan.

No, no bitterness at all the cmball. The person that I talked to about this thought he was simply transferring through open enrollment. If the family is moving, then he won't have to sit. And from what I do understand, this transition has nothing to do with basketball.

The Williams are a fine family, and Ethan is a great kid. I wish them the best.

I too will wish Ethan the best of Luck in Spartan Land!!!
And though it is a rather large loss for us at Federal, he's gotta do what he's gotta do! Hopefully we will see him on the hardwood when we play Alex this year.
:-D Good Luck Ethan!

So is Brent Chadwell helping with the program this year? He has been around these kids along time and has always done an outstanding job as a coach.
