Didn't get your humor. You must have the humor that doesn't make anyone laugh like me.

Pfloyd has Fairland ranked highest in this sectional. Jimmy Chipwood has Fairland only behind Chili. Fairland does have 4 losses but all very close games and three losses to the number 5 ranked team in the state. How could the Dragons be moved to 4th on any list in the district?

For what it is worth just checked Maxpreps and Fairland is highest rated in this sectional there as well!

Don't be surprised if everyone wins out this week and Fairland is in the 6 slot. Only one game against a D2 team will probably hurt them.

Yes Fairland has one win against a d2 team but they have beat a AAA team in WV. They also beat south Webster by 25. But they did lose to oak hill which will hurt them but waverly also lost to oak hill. You are right though it wouldn't surprise me if they got a 6 but it wouldn't surprise me if they got a 2 either

I don't think anyone got my post. Was trying to be sarcastic. Bengalfan76 thought it was huge that unioto beat a piketon team at home which is .500 on the road. Wasn't being serious that waverly should get the 1 because they beat piketon by 25. I dont see that as a big win this year.
No I was saying if they beat Piketon at Piketon on Friday they deserve no worse than 3. But someone got their panties in a bunch and had to go sarcstic.

Maxprep rankings are a joke. Some of the schedules I have seen have incomplete or even wrong results.

Chillicothe and Waverly after Tuesday's games should be the top two seeds. The next four are honestly a coin flip. What Fairland has working against it is no one up here sees them. I really don't think the next four seeds matter in particular order unless one looks at positioning for districts. I've seen three of the four teams, and they all have weaknesses.

I was taking a look at the bracket and it looks like top two teams who come out of this sectional would not play each other until the regional final. Correct me if I am wrong, but that is the way I saw it, looking at the bracket. I do understand before that happens they have to get that far, that fact has not escaped me.

I took a closer look at Chili and Waverly schedule I do think chili had a tougher schedule than Fairland but I don't buy the idea that Waverly did. Waverly's 3 losses to Ironton, Warren and Valley are all good teams but they are still losses and no more if not less than impressive than three to Chesapeake which is argueably the best team in Southeastern Ohio. We both loss to Oak Hill and both beat South Webster it is similar enough to not be able to argue Fairland is better than Waverly as well as to say Waverly is not better than Fairland. So where I will agree is Fairland will get no love because most or all the schools or coaches have not seen us play. Pfloyd has three times and ranks us above Chili and Waverly. Thanks Pfloyd!!!!!!!!!!!

Just curious...why does Fairland play Peake three times? Is that the setup of the OVC, or something else? Normally you see teams within a league play twice each.

Ironton and Valley are D3 and South Webster is D4, Waverly is lucky if they get the 4 seed.

Here's how I see it going down:

1. Chillicothe (11-6)- best schedule and best team
2. Waverly (13-4)- great player, good team
3. Fairland (13-4)- 3 tough losses to 'peake,
4. Hillsboro (13-5)- good wins over Massie, Eastern Brown
5. Unioto (13-4)- Could go higher with win at Piketon Fri
6. Circleville (12-5)- big win over LE, tough game sat at A-C

WCH, MT, Jackson, and McClain round out 7-10.

A lot will be determined this weekend. If Unioto wins Friday they will get the 3 or 4 seed. Circleville needs to win at A-C Saturday or they will have lost 3 of 4 w/ Logan Elm and B-C waiting for their final two games.

Should be some really good games between teams 7-10 and teams 3-6.

I predict Chilly, Waverly, Hillsboro, and Fairland make it to the Convo!! Others??
