Re: Valley at South Webster?
How did Coach Rolfe choose to play today? Did he rotate a lot and give key players some rest, or did he play to win?

Talked to a buddy that went...Valley played all regular players, and seemed to play lethargic and sloppy. Dunno if they had the right mindset, but the regular players did play.Swanker Pine wrote:Starters up until about 30 seconds to go it sounded like.
Dont take anything away from the Jeeps, they played well and did what they needed to do.

I went to see this game and for such a good game by 2 good teams it just seemed so boring LOL Iguess thats what you get when evrything has already been decided on the leagues and playoffs a couple days away, and it wasnt just me I sit in tp row in upper section and you could hear what fans was saying on the other side...it really was a pretty good game, glad both teams got out with no injurys, good luck

Anyone know the JV ref who threatened to throw out the entire home side? PM me if so, a buddy wanted to know.

What? Valley climched the outright SOC title last tuesday when they beat Minford and Waverly lost to Burg.smurray wrote:The loss to Waverly cost them the golden ball.

Re: Valley at South Webster?
I think I have heard of the golden ball as being undefeated in the conference, not the actual trophy and title. I think some other leagues do it if I'm not mistaken.
Re: Valley at South Webster?
SOC champs get the golden ball. All the same for volleyball, soccer and basketball.
Re: Valley at South Webster?
Wha do they call the trophy that has the gold basketball mounted on it....thats what Valley won...lol

Re: Valley at South Webster?
lol, wow, its simple...the trophy is a golden ball...whatever sport it is, the ball is golden. there is not a special trophy for undefeated in the league or anything.
