The rematch is going down last year the Blue Eagles won 67-65 and would go on to win the state title. Lead by Preston Boswell the all time leading scorer at Magnolia with well over 2000 points. They beat MC tonight 58-43

A team that thinks its unbeatable. Very dangerous game for my Blue Eagles, but if the refs let them play tourney Ball then I'd have to say we will win. If some pretty boy ref wants to be a star, then anything could happen.

Are you seriously saying the only way Fort can win is if the refs give it to them? These 2 teams have played some really good OVAC finals. I remember when Magnolia came in a few years ago with Winters talking all kinds of game and 5-10 Chandler Lang worked the 6-6 Winters all over the court. Should be a fun matchup. Fort Frye seems to play up to the competition losing to Warren by 3 in OT.

Absolutely not. If they let them play I think advantage Magnolia. If they call it tight advantage Fort. Should be an awesome game just like last year. Never understood why we kept shooting with such a big lead. Almost cost us the game.

It depends on pace Cadets need to slow it down and play good man to man defense.

I suppose that you think that the manner that a game is called has no effect on how it turns out. Best anyone can hope for is consistency. The more physical the better for Magnolia. Stall ball would be a good strategerie, Especially if Boswell is well off his average.

Fort Frye is not that scared of Magnolia that they would run stall. What I'm talking about is running offense getting good shots stoping transition and getting back on defense.

Cadets to guard Blain on the perimeter and leave Anderson open kid struggles with his jump shot. Carter Kiefer needs to not look for the big steal and stay out of foul trouble and he could give Boswell fits.

Yea I think I understand what you meant to say by your follow up posts but this was a pretty poor way of putting it. Pretty boy ref?

Regardless of how it's officiated it's going to come down to execution of the game plan. At this point in the season the best team will be the team that prepares and executes properly. I'd say if Magnolia relies heavily on one player then FF will have an easier time preparing than Magnolia will. FF doesn't have one stud but a team full of above avg. players. A handful can hurt you if you shut just one down. If they don't shut the one kid down though it'll be a long night for Eric and the Cadets. Should be a good one.
