Re: dover loses tournament opener
The final score was as close as Dover got,I watch on Dover's live stream, they trailed almost the whole game anywhere from 8 to 10 points,Fitch shot 56 percent to Dovers 39 percent
Re: dover loses tournament opener
Dover gets caught padding all-time wins again. How do you schedule five teams from West Virginia, D3 Garaway, D2s but don't play anyone in your backyard in D1 from Akron Canton, Cleveland, Youngstown to prepare for the playoffs. 20-1 in D1 is suspect. They looked impressive when you watch but what do they look like against other Ohio Big schools?
Re: dover loses tournament opener
Goes to show you what we already knew -- D1 is a heck of a lot different than D2. Chillicothe and Logan has learned that the hard ways over the years also.
Watching SE Ohio basketball
Re: dover loses tournament opener
And Zanesville, East Liverpool Marietta and a couple other in the East/SE districts.

That's the trouble of being in the OVAC league you have to play so many of those teams to be eligible for the OVAC league tournament, they didn't play Garaway in the season that was a scrimmage game, but your right they need play alot more of the bigger boys from stark, summit county's and further north also, but Dover really did have nice team this season,I really thought they would have a chance to make some noise in the tournament, but that's the thing when tournament starts you have to be mentality prepared to play also, that's where some teams get upset

Seedings means very little now. It’s tournament time. Dover just didn’t play well that night. If they’d would have played better they probably lose in the district championship game. It’s never easy. Good luck to all going forward.
