Enrollment Data
Enrollment Data
Saw this on the football forum and figured it would be good to share here also.
However, keep in mind CB is not added so this is not the final number but gives you a pretty good idea as to where each team SHOULD fall division wise.

Re: Enrollment Data
Valley going to be close to the D4/D3 cutoff again. Also surprised to see how many kids West lost from last count. And how is St. Joe keeping the lights on?*
Re: Enrollment Data
The previous enrollment figures were
D2: 206-351
D3: 129-205
D4: 128 and down
It typically drops a few each year so I would expect D4 cutoff to be closer to 125 than it is 130.
If so, that looks likely that Valley will jump back to D3 if they have any CB+ at all, which they will.. Wheelersburg had a pretty significant jump to 180 and will sniff the tail end of D2, although their CB is unlikely to get high enough to have them jump into D2.

Re: Enrollment Data
If valley goes back to D3 that’s gonna leave a wide open door for Webster to blast through one of the districts the next 4 years

OVC
Chesapeake 164
Coal Grove. 131
Fairland. 185
Gallia. 223
Ironton. 183
Portsmouth. 171
Rock Hill. 148
South Point. 163
Depending on the cutoff point Fairland and Ironton could be close to Div. 2. Both have had transfers.

Re: Enrollment Data
Tier 2 is 1 player = 7 students toward enrollment. Is this correct? There is probably at least 1 at just about every school depending on if they "moved" or not.

Football = 3
Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball & Softball = 7 (previously 5)
Note. Competitive balance has nothing to do with 'transfers'. It has to do with where the athlete resides. Do they reside within the district or not. If not, has the athlete maintained continuous enrollment at the school since the start of 7th grade. Tier 2 = each student on a particular team’s roster meeting the criteria of this factor, multiplied by the sport specific factor (Football = 3; Soccer,

Tier 1 Non‐Enrolled = each student on a particular team’s roster meeting the criteria of the factor, multiplied by 1 (so that number will always

Athletes that transfer in and now live within the district have zero impact on a school's competitive balance #.
