Wednesday 2/9/22 Menu of Games?

Agreed that the JV game of peake vs south Webster was the worst officiated game witnessed, however, the varsity game was poorly officiated on both sides not just one or the other. It should be remembered that when you single out a player by his number, it is singling out a KID. They are all still kids after all. There is a lot to be said about multiple players from the south Webster team and the deliberate targeting fouls and constant arguing with every single call made. It has hard for some to lose gracefully, especially to such a young, small team, but talking bad about and or making fun of a KID is never the answer. In ANY officiated game at ANY other venue, peaked wins 9/10 times.

The intentional they called on Collins was warranted but y’all act like he vontaze burficted that kid when he really just grabbed him. As far as singling a kid out by a number, if he’s gonna LeFlop the whole game that drastically, someone’s gonna say something about it. Clearly not the first time since the OVC faithful here have said the same thing.

My Cavs looked real good tonight beating Jackson soundly. Defense was tremendous and shooting was good. Hit boards well. I was a bit embarrassed the one boy kept flexing to the crowd. Just play young man. We need some more consistency but it was definitely a good bounce back from Monday night. Things look promising.

No prob. Radio always does two games ,one tape delay. They don't give finals till game is over. Most of us don't post scores till the play by play it over so we don't spoil it for someone.

... I just watched this game on youtube from last night ... the 2022-23 version of the Dragons on display ... they looked comfortable in doubling up on RH ... Coach Speed started 3 sophomores - Will Davis, Chase Allen, Brycen Hunt ... 2 juniors - Jd Thacker, Steeler Leep with a freshman Brody Buchannan off the bench along with junior Zion Martin ... THAT will be an outstanding Dragons' squad coming back for next season ... earning an Elite 8 Preseason ranking I'm sure ... I also watched the Fairland South Point game from Tuesday night - great game ... Aiden Porter !!! you are so darn competitive !!! taken out of the game due to your ankle injury not once but TWICE !!! the second time you crawled off the court !!! AND YOU STILL CAME BACK IN THE 2ND OT !!! One the gutsiest performances I have ever seen - heal that ankle up AP !!! get ready for next weeks' post season game ...
