Seed
2 McClain
Vs
15 Marietta
7 Washington
Vs
10 Unioto
3 Logan Elm
Vs
14 Miami Trace
6 New Lexington
Vs
11 Vinton Co
16 Athens
Vs
17 Circleville
1 seed Waverly winner of 16 vs 17 game
8 Fairfield
Vs
9 Sheridan
4 Gallia
Vs
13 Jackson
5 Warren
Vs
12 HillsBoro
New Lex as a 6 seed seems unlikely. They’ve played a majority of smaller schools and have the same amount of losses as Sheridan who beat them. Sheridan also beat FU by 20.

Yeah…I wouldn’t guess Nex Lex at 6 but they are in the run

1. Waverly

3. Logan Elm
4. Washington
5. Warren Local
6. Gallia Academy
7. Fairfield Union
8. Sheridan

12. Hillsboro
13. Jackson
14. Miami Trace
15. Marietta
16. Athens
17. Circleville
I can't see FU being seeded ahead of Sheridan. Sheridan won their matchup by 20.
By the way, FU is 13-6.

Maybe do but in recent years Gallia hasn’t had the best expected seed in these seedings

Gallia seems to be playing very well right now. They will be a tough out in the tourney. They have a legitimate post presence and their perimeter play seems to much better than early in the season.

I’ve seen every team in this sectional at least once this season except McClain & Hillsboro.
I see Waverly as hands down #1. After them it could go any direction. My top 8 would be:
Waverly#1- loaded up schedule this year
Gallia#2- good big man, playing well
McClain#3- 12-2 record, don’t know much??
Sheridan#4 -good league, beat FU easily
Fairfield U#5- beat logan elm by 15
New Lexington#6- beat Warren on the road
Warren#7- lost at home to new Lex
Wash. CH#8- could surprise some teams

McClain is deep with excellent guard play and experience. Senior laden to say the least. Bryson Badgley is a very good 6’2 scoring guard. Excellent athlete and can hit tough shots. 6’2 Kendall Toney is another big strong guard who is a great passer and can get to the basket and finish/dish. A mix of other guards that can shoot and they have played together since 3rd grade. Very sound on defense. They are very good.

Washington…..I wouldn’t want any part of them with Reico and LeMaster and their athletic/solid role players.

Logan Elm will be seeded third because of their 12-4 record and wins over Zane Trace and Miami Trace and Chillicothe
