Is River really the 'best team' or do they not play the toughest schedule?
I know nothing about them but I enjoy seeing new teams have great seasons.

Okay, well Trimble beat the brakes off of Caldwell and they are ranked 3rd in this so that tells me all I need to know.hhawk wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 8:43 pm East District D4 Records as of January 23

Re: Division 4 East District
Malvern beat Caldwell by 22,River doesn't play a very tough schedule, other than losing to D1 Akron Hoban by 25,then there game with Malvern this Saturday at River will tell me. more if this River team is for real

Re: Division 4 East District
I watched Caldwell play both Trimble and Malvern, both games with their shooter and big playing in spite of testing positive for Covid a few days later to my knowledge, they led Trimble until the 4th, Trimble gained a 5 or 6 point lead early in the 4th and made free throws. As a spectator I’d not be scared for Caldwell to see Trimble again but Malvern beat them by 20 and was in complete control mid 2nd quarter on. IMO Malvern was significantly better than Trimble but both were very good. I know Malvern has lost recently, does the transfers having to sit factor into that? River is very good also but none of this is truly relevant until MarchGray Cat wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 9:48 amOkay, well Trimble beat the brakes off of Caldwell and they are ranked 3rd in this so that tells me all I need to know.hhawk wrote: ↑Sun Jan 23, 2022 8:43 pm East District D4 Records as of January 23

Re: Division 4 East District
The league is a little down this year except for Fed and Trimble. But the home court advantage at some to the TVC Hocking schools is like no other. If you win at all at Waterford you have to be at least 10 points better than them. To win by 10 you have to be 20 points better, etc... Pretty much the same at Southern and Belpre can top even those two. So, even though they are down, it's like playing a team that is significantly better than they are when you play them at their place. We have Fort Frye on the schedule, but they are not typical. We'll see how that all works out come tourney time. I like our chances against all those D4 teams listed.
