Some moving around the top 10!

These teams are all super close. I’ll be interested when Adena faces on of the big 3 D3 teams....it’ll happen in a few weeks.

16. Portsmouth West
17. North Adams
18. McClain

19. Federal Hocking

71. East

This year seedings matter more than ever...not sure it matters as much though in D2

Wish players could mask up after the game and go through handshake line...sanitize or wash hands immediately afterward.

There are about 30 up for the Jeckyl and Hyde Award

Where in God’s name will Fairfield Union be seeded?

Tip of the cap to McClain as they are 3-0 since the loss of their best player Bryson Badgley...still in FAC title race too.

The amount of contact allowed below the shoulders is unbelievable in some games...and same games have nothing flail fouls on the 3 point shooter that wouldn’t knock over a standing balanced broom.

This weather better not postpone Tuesday games

Seeding will also be the most interesting ever...the excuses/reasons will be ore plentiful than ever. Careful coaches....remember Dabo

Some schools with small gyms have players shoulder to shoulder on bench, visiting cheerleaders, homecoming ceremonies, 4 tickets a player while some bigger gyms are having way less going on. Some gyms have pep bands but no concession stand. I don’t think any of it has made one bit of difference.

I still say (and I HOPE I’m wrong) but someone at the end of the season or in the tournament will LOSE and a player will get tested that night or next morning and knock out the team that beat them.

Good Luck this week to the Zane Trace Pioneers, South Webster Jeeps and the Belpre Eagles

Thanks for reading

Marietta, when focused & playing hard is better than their ranking.
When they are not, they are probably lower than current ranking.
Probably one of the toughest teams out there to judge right now.
Played right with Warren, gets hammered by Logan, beats Athens by 6, hammers Fed for a half only to end up somewhat competitive.

Agree they are one of the toughest to place but also maybe toughest to argue where they are put.

Ironman, I would much rather have that #1 seed and face an east region team as opposed to facing a Columbus school. Like you said, not a huge difference, but that #1 seed in D2 could be the difference between a sweet sixteen and an elite eight birth.

Great point and I absolutely think it's going to happen. Another strange event that I think could happen will be a huge underdog being able to advance because the favorite is in quarantine setting up a huge mismatch in the district tournament. Either way, this will likely be a post season people will not forget.

I was speaking for the normal folks who would be ecstatic with a district championship ..not you regional final level teams lol

Good point from your perspective though

Warren vs New Philly WAS THE HARDEST HITTING GAME I have ever watched ... Warren moved into the 1 spot but will take on the Green Bay Packers - I mean New Philadelphia Quakers AGAIN this coming Friday night (6-6,6-3,6-5, 6-5, 6-5, 6-2) before recovering for the back side of the back to back vs a one loss Eastern Brown team Saturday night ... one of the posters asked on another thread "Can EB beat Warren Saturday night? - at the time I hadn't seen WHS's schedule for this coming week - I hadn't seen New Philly's brand of basketball - I've seen them both ... Eastern Brown with their game vs West Union Friday has the stars aligned pretty good for the W over Warren Saturday ...

Losing because some players are quarantined would be unfortunate but with the times we are in....beating a team on the court and player not waiting it out a couple days to avoid ending an entire team’s season would be real hard to swallow.

I like this team better than that team. I think this team is less likely to be upset even though they don’t have a Holden

Quarantines are going to happen. The only way a team can avoid it is make it mandatory everyone gets tested prior to their game, but logistically and financially this unfortunately cannot be done. Can you imagine a team losing by 50 to a team and the coach having his team get tested the next day? guaranteed there will be 1 out of 15 kids test positive, so that would end the season for the Team that just beat them by 50. Shady? Absolutely, but It could definitely happen. I hope the tournaments go smooth and the Kids are allowed to decide it on the court, but I know better! Also, be nice if the OHSAA expanded the attendance to 50% capacity instead of 15%. Just saying!

For the season:

Jackson 49.8 ppg at home (4 games) and 57.4 ppg on the road (9 games)

Hillsboro 68.3 ppg at home (7 games) and 59 ppg on the road (9 games)

I might do some more later...takes a minute

They looked like it the other night. Especially the 3rd qrter to start the 2nd half. Pruitt had some serious range snd pulls the trigger on it Right now. Regardless if he’s toes are on the line or he’s 3’ behind it he shoots the rock.... And ....the ball goes in more than it don’t. I hope they do make a run. Actually any team from our area. 2/3/4 in Yiur rankings gonna have to meet at some point Rigjt ?? Sheridan still Stays scary for sure. Jackson got tourney ready this last week. What a gauntlet,@Waverly , @Boro, @wCH @Burg.....add in a couple quartines.....they tired some....they’ll be tourney ready for sure....I wouldn’t want Jackson either straight out of the gate..

I demand an apology from the poster who scalped me before the start of the season for saying Unioto, Piketon and Adena would all be top 15 teams. COME OUT COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE!!!!
