Agreed. Portsmouth can keep sliding down the rankings.

Portsmouth with a chance at greater respect.

I expect Burg to maybe not play great....Portsmouth to be very much motivated and keep it close a while...Burg pull away in 4th and win by 15-20

That’s my expectation.

I have been paying attention to Portsmouth games because they were to low in rankings. Got beat by Fairlandand Chesapeake by 20-30 points in both. They did beat South Point first time around but South Point didn’t have there best player the Pointers just beat the Portsmouth team with their best player playing, Coal Grove beat the Portsmouth team , which Floyd has ranked at 40. Portsmouth has beat teams with losing records in West Union, Rock Hill,South Point without best player, Gallia Academy. 42-47 a good spot. Can someone tell me the last big win against a team with winning record that meant something. Close losses don’t count. My prediction is Wheelersburg 79 Portsmouth 49

I think they stream on YouTube. Maybe Portsmouth City Schools.

Probably the 1980 something class AA state championship against some defunct prep school from Cleveland.

Put some respeck on Portsmouth’s name 😤

Goes to show 4 returning starters doesn't necessarily equate to wins. Apparently someone knows what he is doing when objectively ranking teams.

This is my third time seeing the Trojans play. They have the athletes and make it to the rim pretty well only to miss the easy shots. Other times they seem to play NBA style with 4 watching and one driving to shoot. They play a little too undisciplined for my taste. Pirates moved the ball around nicely tonight and made that extra pass to the open man. But at the same time, each Burg player wasn’t hesitant to pull the trigger when they had the chance. I always enjoy the annual Burg/Portsmouth matchup and hope it become more competitive again in the future. Good luck to the Trojans the rest of the season. Go Pirates!!
