Absolutely. I had the radio on with the stream and the radio was 13 seconds ahead of the video. Almost every time it was “here’s a steal by Howard, kicked out of bounds by West, pass deflected into the hands of...”

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

And it’s a luxury for any basketball team to have 10 VARSITY level players who can come in and score 5-10 points any night.

I don't remember the last time West won 6 in a row.

Defense is always consistent, wherever you go, On night or Off.
When they are focused and really bear down, their defense is outstanding. They can play man also besides the zones, it's just the Zones are really working well. And they have guys who can score, but that just isn't the style they are playing.

Was talking to coaches family I was telling them I’ve been following West Basketball since I was a young kid and ball boy for Coach Jenkins. We went 10-10 my senior year with 3 coaches and I believe that is our best record in the past 15 years. We got beat in the first round of the tournament so we went 10-11 that year, that season being the 2007-2008 season. 3 years prior that to that wasn’t any better and I can’t remember the records of the teams that would have been the class that went to the state championship in football. Those seasons couldn’t have been much better because the SOC was so strong in basketball during those years

Nice to see West basketball having a solid season. I know my preseason prediction on them was definitely wrong. Hopefully they keep it up and build on it as they have some decent talent coming up from jv and junior high.*
