Fairfield can run all day too. I just think Trimble needs to guard guard guard and they’ll win

I see this as a near 50/50 game. No surprise whoever wins. Alot of people I was around at New Boston game sure thought Fairfield was well coached to. Maybe Trimble runs away with it but Fairfield not getting much talk
Picked Fairfield by 8 I think Trimbles overated!
Trimble is 20-3 and is playing for a district title Saturday. Where would you rate them? What are they rated now?
Teams they have beat this year record has a combine record of 161-257 records from max preps. I'm not saying they have them seeded wrong who else would they put there. Just saying I dont think they are as good as their record shows. Not saying they are a bad team just saying Fairfield has a good chance at beating them.

You said they were over rated.

I asked two questions.
1. Where are they rated now?
2. Where would you have them rated?

Please be honest in your answers.

Lol il be honest I guess I shouldn't of used overated. I should of said they aren't as good as their record shows. I would of gave them the 3 seed because of record. So I agree but I do think Fairfield is a better team just my opion. Alot tougher schedule with Peebles twice both close games. Hillsboro, Blanchester, Eastern Brown. We will see.

I don’t know about running but they sure like to throw up the 3 ball.

Grandview looks pretty good. Good size for D4. Have a 6’ PG that averages 20 and a 6’6 post player that’s committed to Iowa for football that averages 16

Yeah, so we’re his 3 daughters. When I coached track at Whiteoak we’d always see Grandview Heights at the regionals and every relay team had 2 Lachey girls on it for about 6 straight years it seemed. Jim was always at the finish line and would speak to whoever was beside him. Good dude, awesome to hear his voice not in the radio too.

Getting back to Trimble/Grandview Hts in general...

It’s not anything against Trimble. It’s not an undeserved, let alone exaggerated, praise of one particular GH player... either. It’s just a bad matchup for Trimble. Think back to when Trimble played Africentric 4-5 years ago, perhaps. Except this time, Grandview is just going to take their time on offense and beat Trimble in the half-court. GH this year has basically any D4’s coach’s dream team: high-level point guard, 3-4 kids 6’2”-6’4” that play quite good perimeter D who can also collapse and crash inside to stop the ball and force tough shots. Plus Lachey is a beast off the block, both ways.

GH may win yes....but...Trimble will not be intimidated whatsoever and Howie will have them prepared. Trimble was overmatched at every position against Africentric both times they played...Trimble had a chance to win both times especially the second meeting led almost entire game til running out of gas the last minute so we will see....No predictions here and will absolutely be a tall task for Trimble but they are still playing yet again this time of year....Go Cats

Fairfield had kids, 6'2, 6'4, 6'4. Size isn't everything

I was real impressed with Trimble tonight. Those kids are tough and gritty (I see why they ran Webster off the floor now). Play hard and move the ball well. Winners.

As for the GH matchup, Trimble will be right in that game. Central District doesn’t scare anyone now that Africentric and Harvest Prep have moved up to D3. Gone are the days where SE Ohio D4 rep is overmatched athletically by best Columbus athletes compiled on one all star team. Good luck Tuesday night to the Tomcats*

Fairfield’s not even close to being on the level of GH, though.
