Yes, that’s assuming Crooksville beats Green in the Sectional Finals, which I think will happen.

Peebles ,being the 1 seed got to choose their bracket.They chose to play at Northwest in the first game. It's 15 minutes from home.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the only thing they got to choose was what other district's champ they would play if they won their district, and they opted for Athens 1 which advances to play the east district. Then they were assigned to play at Northwest, which they had reason to expect to happen, since the higher seeds get high consideration to play at the sectional site closer to them. Note that the two top seeds, #1 in the Athens 1, and #1 in the Athens 2, are playing in the same night's session, I assume, because of the 1:45 between games, for one admission at Northwest.

It would be interesting to know, in all 3 divisions, what was the best seed that has to go to the sectional site that is furthest from them?

I just figured out what led me to believe that the brackets were different in the boys . The girls sectional bracket has the 1 and 2 seeds at different sites. 1 seed at Northwest and 2 seed at Wellston. Peebles girls go to Wellston for sectional final.

Not correct.

The #1 gets to pick their side of the bracket were they to advance to the Sweet 16. They did not "pick" to go to Northwest. They were placed there.

Read further in the thread.. This has been talked about at length. I know that now. I was thinking of girls bracket where girls brackets were at Welston where the girls ended up.

Crooksville is definitely prone to make runs, much like South Webster. Swingle & Jago awhile back took em all the way to the district championship and were 9-11 going into tournament.

My money is big on Peebles. Great point guard, great shooting guard, all the pieces, win close games....great coach.

Peebles will have scout on hand to watch winner of Green/ East winner vs Crooksville and will see what both teams have.Im sure Green would love to get to the convo as well.

Not sure New Boston wanted Whiteoak in their first game either.

No, not really. Whiteoak is young and not over the hump on winning consistently. PV isn’t very good and would get beaten badly by NB. PV could very well beat Whiteoak, no doubt. Whiteoak has already played NB and a decently tight game.

I’m guess NB doesn’t much care who they play but WO a tougher matchup for NB. No hurt feelings intended.
