Not only is Alexander supposed to have a great season this year, but it can be pretty tough to win in that big ole barn. I'm not really sure about Adena this year, I know they finished pretty strong last year. Hopefully it will be a very competitive good ballgame.

I’ll be surprised if it’s not very close

Adena graduated 3 seniors, 2 starters. One of which was their best player in that tournament run.

But, they picked up a 6’2 super utilityman from Unioto who has filled in nicely, especially shooting the ball.

They return 6 guys with regional experience and have some really nice size across the board.

Should be a nice game

Thanks, sounds as if it could have the makings of a very good ballgame.

Biggest issue I've seen with Adena this year is depth. 1-6 they're very good. Nice size, athleticism, and ability to shoot the ball. It drops off quite a bit after that though. They expend a lot of energy defensively with a pressing/trapping style defense. In the big games, what they get from their bench will be a big factor.

The Spartan's not only have a fine team, but it can be pretty difficult to beat them on there home floor.

Alexander guards really well and have a giant inside. I think this game tells us more about Alexander than it does about Adena. Adena still a very dangerous basketball team.

Really good team, tough environment, and long trip on Tuesday night usually isn't going to work out well for the visiting team.

Said it all year -- Alexander is a top 8 and borderline Top 5 team in SEO. Very, VERY dangerous team. Complete with a great PG, a near 7 footer in the post, and terrific athletes surrounding them. Zane Trace is the best D3 team in SEO, but Alexander is not far behind and would absolutely give them fits if the 2 were to ever meet.

I'd say Alexander is surely a top 5 SEO team when they're playing at home. Very hard to win there when they don't have a lot of talent and near impossible when they do have. :geek:
