I haven't seen Hiland this year, but they did play in the Athens D3 regional final last year, losing handily to Fairland. If they have a number of those players back from that team, I would assume they would be the favorite in this game. I know Coach Schlabach has guided the Hawks to 2 back to back state championships in recent years. I haven't seen Fairfield Christian, but the only thing I can say about them is that they are in the regional, so they must be a very respectable team.

Fairfield Christian was 8-14 in the regular season and have gotten hot at the right time. They won the district at the #7 seed. They are well coached and have one dynamic player, Caleb Collins, who averages over 20 points per game. But truthfully there were no great teams in the Central District for D4, so I would think Hiland wins and it's not close.

Fairfield Christian's upset ride ends vs. Hiland. Hiland beat a very good River team and will coast in this one.
Hiland by 15.

Running clock in the Regional semifinal. That is nuts!!!
You can take the boy out of the 'ville, but you can't take the 'ville out of the boy!!

I watch Fairfield Christian earlier in the year, I wasn't overly impressed with them. But to be where they are now, they must have made huge strides and really are peaking at the right time.
Re: Berlin Hiland vs Fairfield Christian Tues.@6:15 at OU.
They made huge strides with the tournament draw, Symmes Valley could of gone to regionals with that draw.

It was 17-16, and highland, i think ended on a 47-7 run...

YEP, MOST OF THE DISTRICT AROUND HERE (COLUMBUS) IN DIV ARE SMALL "CHRISTIAN" (NOT TO BE INCLUDED WITH THE "PREPS" AND "ENTRICS" OF THE WORLD) THAT HAVE VERY SMALL ENROLLMENTS AND ARE WHAT I CALL CHURCH SCHOOLS THAT USUALLY ONLY HAVE A FEW KIDS WITH LOCAL TIES THAT GO THERE. YOU WOULD SEE THE DIFFERENCE IF YOU LIVED UP HERE (COLUMBUS) IN THE "PAROCHIAL/PREP" AKA (ALL AROUND THE CITY) SCHOOLS AND THESE SMALL CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS (AT LEAST IN COLUMBUS). THE CORNERSTONE CHRISTIANS (CLEVELAND AREA SCHOOLS) OF THE WORLD ARE NOT LIKE HERE IN COLUMBUS (GROVE CITY CHRISTIAN, TREE OF LIFE, FAIRFIELD CHRISTIAN, ETC.) AND MOST COULDN'T FIELD A FOOTBALL TEAM IF THEY WANTED TOO BECAUSE OF NOT ENOUGH KIDS).
