I worked camps for years and in my opinion, I would find a local instructor or coach. Camps are money makers. PGC is great, but very expensive. With an instructor or coach, your kid will get waaaay more hands on instruction. Hope that helps.

I’m not sure if they still host it or not but when my son was in the 7th and 8th grade he went to the Ohio State basketball camp and loved it. Drills and skill work with a lot of games. The kids play in rec centers all across campus, and even in St. Johns & the Schott.

Having personally worked with Coach Kyle Miller, I personally guarantee you will be hard pressed to find a better teacher of the fundamentals of the game combined with essential learning for player development, this along with the curriculum of Breakthrough basketball is a tremendous tool for any serious basketball player.

Rio Grande's Hard Work Camp is one of the best camps to learn toughness and how to do things the right way in a game setting, along with a grinding schedule that truly tests your will. All former Hard Work campers and staff will know the phrase "Got Juice?"
