I wonder if they are trying to implement some of the rule changes that are taking place at the college level this season. I'm not a fan of what they are doing to the college game. I understand they are trying to make the games higher scoring so they are more exciting to watch, but I feel these rule changes are doing the opposite. Calling so many fouls slows the game down and nobody goes to games to watch a foul shooting contest.cobbtown wrote:I didn't hear the complete run down but Lynchburg was picked to win Big and Fairfield the Small.
I thought Eastern and Fayetteville also looked good.
Way to many touch fouls called the entire night. I hope this is not an indication of how the league will be called this year.
This type of officiating makes for a very long night and ruins the flow of the game.
Maybe the instructors need some instruction.

Re: SHL 2013-2014
Based on what I've seen, it looks like the cream is starting to rise to the top.
Eastern and Peebles look to be taking care of business on the big side.
And Fayetteville and Fairfield on the small.
What was the Ripley / Manchester score?

Several key games yet to be played with Peebles and Eastern tied for the big school title, Lynchburg needs a lot of help to get a sniff at the title.
Fairfield's win over Fayetteville puts them in control of the small with a chance to run the table and go undefeated in league play.
Does anyone have a rundown of the remaining league games?
