The bigger question might be "Will there be a PVC in 2015-16"?
I think the conference sticks around, but don't think any schools are going to jump in and join.

From what I hear Buckeye Trail is in for one more season in every sport and then they leave for the I.V.C. Does anyone else think this was a terrible decision?

My son has exhausted his eligibility now but I still plan on watching a lot of his teammates return and play another year. They return the following:
Tanner Clark-6'0 senior guard
Jack Ridenour-5'9 senior guard
Caleb Heller-6'1 senior forward
Bricker Lori-5'10 senior guard
Dalton Ivey-6'2 junior forward
Casey Farnese-6'5 junior forward
Chris Hupp-5'10 Sophomore guard
Logan Heller-5'10 Freshman guard

The four seniors are all very experienced, athletic and good players. Three of them were three of the top four players this year and the other one, Lori, is a great athlete and played a lot. The Ivey kid started getting playing time late in the year and is an athletic bruiser that they didn't have this year. The Farnese kid is long and lanky and a solid player. The Hupp kid had a nice year on the JV squad. I expect the younger Heller kid will earn a lot of playing time as a freshman. Very good player, left handed shooter who is a basketball kid. From what I hear the tall skinny Francis kid from Cambridge is moving in to the district and will be playing next winter. He's like 6'5 so that can only help.

I don't know if it was a good or bad decision for Buckeye Trail, but I did find it funny that they cited travel as one reason for the move. In a Football thread here, someone posted an article in which a BT rep named four schools that were within 25 miles that were already in or joining the IVC. But elsewhere in the article, it seemed like all of those schools would be in the big school division while BT would be in the small school division. There could be crossover, I know, and perhaps the other small schools are closer as well, but it just came off as kind of funny to me.

Are any other PVC schools exploring options now?
