Chillcothe Cavaliers 2012/2013

Post by bvmv4life »

With the JV team only losing one game last year, the kids stepping up to Varsity will certainly help returning starters Zach Johnson and Adam Bixler...the loss of 4 year starter Malik London will be huge...i think thier might be a cloud hanging over who will be on the sidelines...rumor is Coach K will ride off in the sunset...personally i hope not,but its looking it might happen. The last 7 years under Coach K has brought success to the Cavalier program...its been a great run, hope it dont end ...Go Cavs!!!!

I hear that the London boy in 8th grade is the best of them all. I also heard on here earlier in the season that the Londons will be transferring to New Albany? I think thats what it said. Not sure why they would want to go there? Chillicothe has arguably the best run in southern Ohio in the past 7 years. I also heard the rumor about Coach K on his way out. I dont mind the switch. Lets face it hes no the youngest guy to every grace our sidelines and im sure he is thinking the same thing. Wouldnt be a terrible thing to get a younger coach with a prestiguous resume in Chillicothe. I guarantee the list of applicants would be plenty and mighty too. It is the premier job around, thanks to Coach K. Its way to early to look to next season with the team we have, simply becasue we dont really know the team we have. If we had 5 returning varsity starters sure we could make reservations to cut the nets down in Athens again. I am excited to hear the chatter around Chilli. Lets hope the London boys stay and we pick up a big man for the post next year!

Go Cavs

New Albany area is a place for new jobs--might be more player going there.

It's looking very very very ugly as of right now...I hope it can get turned around fast.. if not, the pre Coach K era will be back and Chilly will struggle to get out the Sectionals...

Please elaborate bvmv4life. Are you talking about talent level or the coach? I have heard some of the same things but no one has given me much of an answer. The one thing i have heard is that Meister is too "disciplined"? Is this some of the same things that you have heard?

Hope all is well in Cavalier country!

Go CAVS!
