Athens had very good balance, with 5 players with 8 or more points. Besides Valentour and Butcher, they got 8 points from Pfaff, Maffn, and Stanley. Athens was 4 for 11 from 3 point range, getting two from Maffin and 1 each from Pfaff and Butcher. It was a very physical game and both teams showed they could take it and dish it out. Great job Bulldogs

Junior Austin Wilson and sophomore Bryce Amos saw varsity action for the first time this season during Saturday night's game against Athens. Both have been sidelined by injuries, Wilson stood out on defense and Amos popped in six points in his initial game.
