Piketon will win easily I believe. Overall, I think the Redstreaks will march through the SVC quite easily (league not as deep as years past).

Piketon by 10, mainly due to the Haynes injury.

Piketon was up by 30 until they put their JV into the game late in the fourth. 8)

... 2 "major" W's for the Streaks to open the 2009-10 season ... Dundas - Piketon IS definitely the real deal ... with the score that is posted AND the napkin stat that PHS was up 30 - my guess is that Brush - stayed out of foul trouble BY staying on the floor ... going to be tough for ANY team to get inside on the Streaks with Southworth and Brush in the paint ...

Legg with 28, and the Streaks cruise at Home in the Oven in this one! Brush had 2 early fouls, but ended up playing until the end on this one. Piketon was never threatened on this one.

I would like to second what Eagles73 said and add that the "new look oven" is awesome. New floor and new lighting, wow nice job on that one Eagles73.

The Streaks played very well last night. Defense was intense, pressure gave the Pioneers fits all game. Legg is unstoppable on that little lane floater- you know it's coming, but what can you do? Southworth stepped it up big in the second half- he played like a beast. Brush had 2 huge blocks in the second half- the in-your-face-get-that-crap-out-of-here kind. Helton, Vulgamore, Lewis, et.al. did what they are supposed to do- hustle, guard, score when available. Very early in the season, though, so while enjoying the victory, there are 18 (hopefully upward of 26) left to go.

The Pioneers are a good team, just got overwhelmed last night. Maxwell can create his shots, but can the others? Chamberlin is a beast, but would be in trouble in a tightly called game. Got several garbage buckets just from not quitting.

I expect many victories for Zane Trace.

Legg is the real deal, puts alot of time in to improve his game, looks like he will take up the slack that Smith and Brabson left with. This team is scary with a really good coach.

Haynes did not play. Piketon defense led to probably 50 percent of their offense. Even Maxwell was rattled a few times handling the ball. I love watching a tenacious defense, it just demoralizes teams. Lets Go Streaks!
