I have been scouting my hunting area and I have seen two nice looking Bucks. A huge 8 pointer and a bigger 10 pointer. They have been feeding heavy in the soy bean fields about a half hour before dark. Anyone else scouting any for that one special Buck you have seen?

I have been getting tons of trail camera pictures, but not many bucks. They are primarily eating beans. I have been glassing the bean fields close to my hunting spots and the shooters are there. Once the beans get hard I have some really good alfalfa and clover for them to move on to!

Did anyone else go out this morning or this evening? Any success?

Deer were moving this morning. I saw 5 does and I ended up putting a Rage broadhead through a raccoon (he was close to 25lbs from the shelled corn buffet he has been taking advantage of on my dime!).

Me and my son went seen a bunch of does but they didn't come across the creek would not matter he will not shoot a doe or a small buck you won't find that very much from a 12 year old, got a laugh out of him at about 7:00 3 different packs of coyotes started up they were all propably within a hundred yards I think it made him a little nervous he sure had a funny look on his face.

$65 to cut up a deer??????

Done it myself forever... Not that hard, take your time, do it boneless and buy a grinder.
Get you supplies from LEM a processing supplier here in Ohio.

Cheapest I have found is Circle M, which is located off St Rt 776 between Stockdale and US 32 just west of Jackson. $280 a ton if you bring your own bags, $320 a ton pre bagged. That is the price on buying a ton.

I bought a bag in Ironton last week, $9.99 a 50 lb bag. That is crazy.
Corn is down to $5.91 a bushel but nobody is lowering their price on bagged corn.
