Most R & B rockabilly came from the south but from P.S. 109 in New York City came the Bobbetts,five girls aged 12 to 14 who made a splash with a squealing piece of nonsense about their principal called Mr. Lee
They followed with "I Shot Mr. Lee". Ever heard it? Wasn't quite the hit the first one was!
