The Code Of Life - DNA

Post by kantuckyII »

I was with my four year old great niece yesterday and she was talking about Jesus and I told her that God made her just the way He wanted her to be while she was in her mommy's belly and she asked me, 'How did He do that?" and it's like how do you explain DNA to a four year old..the same way it was explained to David...she was formed in the mother's womb and God saw what she was going to be before she was born! God shaped her (and us) and we were knitted together..
Psalms 139th Chapter says...
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

Wow, if you took the DNA found on one pinhead (about 2mm)..that amount of information that could be stored on that pinhead of DNA is equal to a stack of books that reaches from the earth to the moon...times FIVE HUNDRED! I think God's got people at Western Digital beat on storage systems! Shazaam Batman!

It'll take a little investment of your time to watch these but they're very good, well worth it! God's creation is so much more magnificent that we ever imagined! That absolute complexity of it shows that there is a God!

A little embarrassed to say, but I bit and watched this. All I can say is wow, she just managed to knock several IQ points off anyone unlucky enough to listen to this, including me and the poor fools in the audience. I only hope they didn't have to pay good money to be sold this bill of goods.

Sorry Tuck, but I have to nominate this as Worst Thread Ever.

You have to watch them all, she ties them all together, there's no way that it's not that way

That's alright......

At least you still have 60 points left on your IQ.

Which roughly doubles your own, so I'll always have that going for me.

I'd hope that in your capacity as a teacher you don't shove this pseudo-science down your impressionable students' throats. I'd pull my kid out of that school.

Thanks for admitting that your IQ is 60.

Mine is between 135 and 150.

Pseudo-science...nah...

...sorry, I teach math...and I am a great teacher!

Lol, yeah, right Mortimer. Two quick points: 1. Anyone who walks around claiming their IQ is between 135 and 150 has probably omitted a decimal point in their somewhere . . . after the 13 or the 15; and 2. Anyone who believes what this lady is propounding can't possibly have an IQ higher than a borderline idiot level. Nice try though. 135 my a$$.

You are right about one thing, it's not a pseudo-science; it's a false science.

Good luck with that thought, captain...
