Everywhere else in the country they measure trips in miles. In Ahia we measure it in TIME!

down here in the real southern Ahia we measure trips a little differently:

Ironton to Portsmouth.........4 Goebels

Ironton to Gallipolis.............5 Goebels

Ironton to Jackson..............5 Goebels

Ironton to Athens...............7 Goebels

Ironton to Logan................8 Goebels

Ironton to Massillon............1 Keg of Goebels

I traveled to Chicago [specifically, Bolingbrook, IL] by train to spend the whole week with my son, daughter-in-law and their 3 sons. I just got back home today. I had a great trip and absolutely loved spending time with those grandkids [ages 7 yrs, 4 yrs, and 6 mos] that I don't get to see very often. It was a TERRIFIC Thanksgiving!! Now Grandma needs to rest the aching hip, back, and shoulder!! More aspirin, please!
