Pawn Stars

Post by The Instructor »

Pawn Stars is one of my favorite new shows.

I think this is its second season but I just started watching it.

I love "The Old Man".

Does anyone else watch it?

It is like watching Antique Roadshow with comedy thrown in.

i like it real well too, and i love american pickers, two really neat shows.

chummley will fire anything. he needs a raise, just for testing all those old guns. last night the ole man, put in a cuss jar. he made a small fortune, the guys were just giving him 5's and 10's in advance. :-D

The hubby loves Pawn Stars and American Pickers! I watch them now and then but not as into it as he is. But they are very good shows.

I travel a lot so it's hard to keep up with some of these shows. For instance, History Channel is not on the TV at the hotel i'm in this week. However, when I can catch it, I love Pawn Stars.

Austin "Chumlee" Russell
Where did Chumlee get his nickname? Friends in elementary school took the name from cartoon character Tennessee Tuxedo's sidekick, a walrus named Chumley.

Chumlee is a sheep in wolf's clothing.

My favorite is Rick. I don't really care for his son. I like the old man and chumley is a hoot.

The episode with the leg ball & chain cracks me up.

Rick tells Chumlee to put it in the window to display it.

On the way, a security guard asks him what it is so he sets it on the counter a wee bit too hard and it busts through the display case.

I laughed out loud and watched it a few more times by reversing the DVR.

What a dumb move!

I think everyone has had a friend like Chumley or has known someone like him. They said that is how he got his name by the cartoon character where he is a Walrus(Chumley) and the penguien with the voice of Don Adams of the old TV Show Get Snart. He is great as well as "The Old Man"and his son Rick. Rick's boy Corey, doesn't strike me as playing with a full deck. I just don't care for him. He is lazy and it shows. He is always ordering Chumley around and belittleing like he owns him.

Chumley is an idiot.

At first, I thought he was playing a role.

Now, after watching several episodes of the show, I know it is not a role.

He should be called Dumbley.

guys , i finally saw the one , with the leg irons, with chumley last night. rick was so mad , when he dropped that cannon ball , through the glass that he could not even talk, then at the end of the show big hoss put the 200 dollar potty chair in the back, was wizzed at the old man, peeled out taking it to a woman, and it fell out of the back of the truck , where he did not shut the tailgate. it landed right at the old man's feet. there was alot of bleeping after that.

If you go to http://www.history.com, you can watch the current episode.

I love the Old Man!

He reminds me of my grandpa, Shirley Neal.
