Entirely female is says..this situation could really raise a lot of questions about how they qualify contenders in the future.

Caster Semenya's gender test results force IAAF to call in outside help
A gender verification test on the South African athlete, Caster Semenya, has raised sufficient doubt about whether she is entirely female that the results are to be given to a panel of independent experts for further examination.

Telegraph Sport has learnt that tests carried out in a specialist hospital in Berlin following the 18 year-old's runaway victory in the 800 metres at the World Championships are now complete, though it will take a further week to 10 days to have the results reviewed.

Another reason why the International Association of Athletics Ferderations' decided to commission outside experts was to appease South Africa's stinging criticism of the world governing body's handling of the gender controversy.

The results will not be made public because, unlike a doping case, it is considered a medical matter requiring patient confidentiality.

On Tuesday, the Semenya was pictured on the front cover of a glossy South African magazine, having been given a glamorous makeover, though the fact that the results of her gender tests now require further scrutiny will fuel speculation that she has a chromosomal disorder.

If so, the issue will be whether she gains an unfair advantage from her condition through raised testosterone levels. But the IAAF has confirmed that, whatever the result of the gender test, she will not be stripped of her gold medal.

The decision means that Britain’s bronze medallist Jenny Meadows, who finished in the bronze medal position, will not be promoted to the silver.

Ok after comparing the 2 side by side I do see some things different.

1. the eyebrows though that can be explained with the make over.
2. the hair, can cornrows really hide that much hair?
3. the mouth, after winning a race by that much is that all the smile someone can muster?
4. the cheekbones, In the glam pic they seem more defined and fuller
5. the teeth, though they are not showing much in the track picture, what does show there seem to be a lot of gaps between them, in the glam pic they are full and stright and together.

well thank you Burg_Grad_77 I never really knew how much hair could be hidden in corn rows that is why I asked corn rows is not something we see in this area. I never thought about Air brushing, However on the news tonight they showed a picture after the race with a smile side by side to the glam shot and the smile was still off, but again air brushing.

The news though was reporting the additional testing that KII posted above, so there is still some doubt.
