synoptic snow possible tonight into Wednesday.

Post by mvlnewlex »

Look for a 1 to 3 inch snowfall across Southeastern Ohio. It starts after midnight and continues through Wednesday Morning.

Tuesday Night: Clouds increase with snow late. Low: 25.

Please tell me it will be all over with by the weekend. I'm heading to the deep south on Sunday and I really need decent weather to drive.

I don't care about snow for now, but I hope the weather clears by Friday. The cheerleaders are heading to Columbus for a cheer competition. We won't be home until Saturday evening.

Central Ohio has a good chance for an ice storm Friday.

I think temperatures will be just warm enough for rain anywhere south of Lancaster.

thats bad news for you.

Not that I want it to hit but if it does I hope it hits early enough that schools can make a decision about the day before kids are out waiting on buses or they're on the road.

I am going to stop posting weather threads and let Tobias post weather channel maps all day long.

LOL

Nothing against you Tobias. I just hate the Weather Channel with a passion.
How far in the future can you forecast weather?
with full confidence 24 hours

with 80 percent confidence. 3 days.

with 50 percent confidence 5 days.

With 25 percent confidence 10 days.

Long range forecasts are usually for general trends. I can often see a pattern change a few weeks or a month out.
