I'll start with Lawrence County General Hospital (LCGH)

I OFTEN TOLD JEFF LINN, A DEAR FRIEND OF MINE. AND WE GRADUATED TOGETHER. THAT IF HE SOLD UNDERWEAR. THAT EVERYTHING I HAD ON WAS FROM HIS STORE.

I even miss the old Yankee Burger that used to be down by West School,they had awesome fish sandwiches and hot dogs were good but not as good as Shake Shoppe

East end carry out. East Front St. Use to have the coldest kept beer in town. They had their coolers cranked as cold as you could get them the lady told me in there one day. It was noticeable when you took a drink of any beverage from there. Beer, pop, milk, etc etc etc,

God it seems like everything has changed in Athens. Hell even the river moved lol

I miss the Sunday Shop in The Plains, Abdellas in Chauncey, and Toscano's in Athens

When McDonalds first came to Logan I went in and ask for a triple decker :lol: and the manager was taking orders and she looked at me with a "you smart Butt" look and said we do not make those here. :lol: When my buddy stopped laughing.. I just said it was a honest mistake. :lol:

Was a good place..almost bought that place.... We were running a store in the east end and I wanted a west end store too but the wife thought it would be too much.
