9/17/07 Oil Closed at a record high yesterday, 80.57 up 1.47 a barrel and gasoline was 2.0442 up 0.0078 a gallon. Look out gas prices.

Oil will open this morning at 81.22 a barrel and wholesale gasoline will be 2.0493 a gallon. Retail gasoline in Ashland, Ky. yesterday was 2.53 and in Ironton at 2.67. Wonder when the excuse will be used about the changeover to winter blend? :lol:

What happened yesterday? Oil dropped to 79.02 down 2.20 a barrel and wholesale gasoline dropped to 2.0002 down 0.0491 a gallon.

Oil closed back up yesterday at 80.26 up 1.24 a barrel and wholesale gasoline was 2.0202 up 0.0200 a gallon. Retail in Ironton is still 2.67 and its 2.53 across the river in Ashland Ky.

Oil closed yesterday at 81.30 up 1.04 a barrel and gasoline was at 2.0336 up 0.0134 a gallon. Retail in Ashland Ky. last night was 2.52, still at 2.67 in Ironton.

Yesterday oil closed at 83.08 up 1.78 a barrel and wholesale gasoline closed at 2.0666 up 0.0330 a gallon. Retail in Ironton rose to 2.79

Oil closed Friday at 83.69 up 0.61 a barrel and gasoline closed at 2.0851 up 0.0185 a gallon. At one time Friday it was at a record 84.00 a barrel. Had something to do with Turkey. Lots of oil in Turkey. :roll:

Oil closed at 86.13 up 2.44 a barrel and wholesale gasoline closed at 2.1575 up 0.0744 a gallon. I filled up last night at 2.52 but I look for it to go to at least 2.99 today.

Yipes! Another big jump as oil closed yesterday at 87.61 up 1.48 a barrel and gasoline closed at 2.1737 up 0.0162 a gallon. Retail in Ironton went to 2.89 and I look for it to jump again before the weekend.

Finally a glitch in the other direction. Oil closed at 87.40 down 0.66 a barrel and wholesale gas closed at 2.1466 down 0.0271 a gallon. Retail everywhere around here is 2.89. John Clark do you own all the stations?
