Been a level 2 in Muskingum County for the past hour and a half. Close to 4" on the ground right now and drifting starting around 1pm.

I-70 between Zanesville and Brownsville is closed due to 7 semis getting tangled together :122246.

Its sleeting here now but is suppose to change back over to snow. All local weather media is reporting 12" by tomorrow afternoon.

RUT ROE NLP, something you didn't predict and now The Weather Channel is now doing so is temps staying below freezing on Saturday! that could make it much messier.

I just got back in a little bit..watching the water levels already and the super saturated ground...flooding is going to be the huge story now I do believe.

yep I agree how is the old Ohio holding up down that way? I still have a little water left in my yard from the begining of the week along with the snow :?

Might be 4 1/2 inches now.
Has let up some over the last hour.
Map is showing more coming in a little later.
Wind is blowing like crazy now and with it being blown off the tops of people houses its looking bad.

Ok, gosh darnit. this makes me mad. Maybe im just on edge and under stress in life right now. But if you would actully read my darn forecast (Or even the NWS forecast) you would see that Jackson and Portsmouth were supposed to get mostly rain and sleet today. Some light snow later tonight. and then several inches of snow tomorrow.

I am tired of people who know nothing about the weather being too critical of weather forecasters.

most of these people dont even read forecasts in details. They dont bother to see where the storm is coming from and what the overall situation is.
