ballparent, where you going????I see Cuyahoga Fall, Cincinnati, or Bristow, Va. as maybe the closest....

This will be a good one to attend....

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with Steve Winwood
Super Bowl 2008 tour....

I'd like to see Steve Winwood by himself once again....

Cincinnati. According to the fan club site they will be opening up 1500 seats per venue for pre-sale to members. Hoping to snag seats when they go up at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. If no luck, since scalpers jam the sites even at pre-sale offerings will try again on the morning of Feb. 4th. Then I usually stay on the computer while someone stands in line at a ticketmaster site and we communicate back and forth by cell phone to see who gets tickets first. Crazy, huh? And if that all fails I'll resort to bidding on E-bay or check StubHub.

I Love Tom Petty I drive my son crazy with his CD. I'm so glad he is coming to Ohio. I told my husband last summer that I wanted to go see him if he came around here :-D

FYI, we get three days a year to take off for whatever reasons and Tom Petty deserved to get a half day for me. Stayed home to lock my tickets in, well, rather, went to my daughter's to get on her computer. The wind storm the night before knocked out my cable and Internet until about 11 or 12 yesterday. But it's all good. :) And yes he's going, he'll be front and center, and we won't be thinking of the Hill or the Pop Shop while we're there that's for sure. 8)

He sounded better during the superbowl than he did 20 years back when I caught him in Columbus,Ohio.

my three questions last night

Why didnt the Patriots send in Guskowski to kick that 48 yard field goal ?

Why didnt that car hit Richard Simmons ?

and most of alll......

why didnt Tom Petty sing "Mary Janes Last Dance" ?

It was in his contract that he was not allowed to perform it. With many people thinking it refers to drugs, it was decided that he would not perform it.
