Favorite Beatles' Songs?
Favorite Beatles' Songs?
One of the greatest, if not the greatest, Rock n Roll bands of all-time. They've been an inspiration to countless numbers of singers/songwriters.
Do you have any favorite songs of theirs?

Out of the 300+ songs they released, it is hard to pick only 1 favorite.
But there are a few that are NOT worth a nickel.

Yer Blues / A day in the life.... The Beatles largest contribution to Rock was probably their experimentation sterio systems and sound.

I like their older stuff best. Twist and Shout and Paperback Writer are two of my favorites. But I like all of them.

Let it be
Hey Jude
A Day in the Life
Lucy in the sky with Diamonds
While my guitar gently weeps
these are 5 of the greatest songs ever

"If I Fell"
"And I Love Her"
"Help"
"Yesterday"
"With a Little Help from My Friends" (if for no other reason because...of Joe Cocker's version of it. What the 60's/70's scene be missing if you took out Joe Cocker doing this cover?!)
Here's Joe Cocker doing it at Woodstock
Here's another version of Joe performing the song with Leon Russell. Both Cocker and Russell look like serial killers or something at the start of the song but man, is it awesome!
Both of these are classics that any music lover needs to watch and listen to!

Re: Favorite Beatles' Songs?
I love them and my husband is a huge fan. So when we got married and combined our LP collection he had a ton of Bealtles albums and most of their individual solo albums. I gained a greater appreciation for them as an adult.
If I had to pick one song it would be "Hey Jude".

Not really my taste in that era of music. I'm more of a Temptations, or CCR guy.
